On Sunday, June 10, 2012 the Madison Arts and Culture Alliance (MACA) will once again sponsor the “Madison Artist Studio Tour.” This event will take place from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, rain or shine. Twenty-three artists and photographers who live and/or work in the Madison area will be participating in this event. The Madison Artist Studio Tour, organized to introduce and promote the visual artists in the borough, will feature the participating artists’ work either in their studios or in exhibition spaces throughout the Rose City.

The participating artists include Medy Bozkurian, Marco Catini, Ally Coultas, John DeLade, Ed Birch, Karen Matte, Paul Mueller, Priscilla Petitti Flores, Barbara Thompson, Shawn Backe, Monika Stebbins, Ian Thompson, Sandra McBryan, Sally Lebwohl, Maria Lupo, Dennis McKee, Ryan McCarthy, Thomas Somerville, Michael King, Nino Tsereteli, David Gavasheli, Julie Healy and David Rush. The art will be available for viewing at the following locations: Drip Coffee, Cambridge Street Papers, Coccia Realty, Tivoli Gallery, Rose City Framers, Creative Hands, Lupo Studios, Madison Ambulance Squad, On A Roll and Advanced Acupuncture. Additional locations may be added prior to the event.

The June 10th studio tour will be launched at 10:00 am with a community-based puzzle project on Waverly Place where children and families are encouraged to be creative. Maps designating each artist’s location will be sold for five dollars each beginning May 28, 2010 around town at various Madison locations. They will also be sold on Waverly Place, near the community-based art project, on the day of the studio tour. The public is invited to a post-tour reception at 5:30 at Salvatore Minardi Salon on Park Avenue.
