Kings Road to Perform at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts’ Downtown Concert
Madison, NJ – On Friday, September 12th from 6-8 pm the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts invites guests to the Downtown Concert Series, featuring the local band Kings Road presented by Morris Arts and Madison Downtown Development Commission.
A local favorite, Kings Road, based in Madison, NJ plays an appealing blend of alternative / light / acoustic rock with harmony vocals and melodic instrumentation from such artists as Sheryl Crow, Shawn Mullins, Alanis Morrisette, Brandi Carlile and the Decemberists. Band members include Doug Owen (lead guitar), Diane Kirsh (vocals), Chris Wolfe (drums), Johanna Habib (keyboard), Michael O’Keeffe (guitar) and Ron Besser (bass). The Downtown Concert Series is a series of 4 FREE Friday evening, family-friendly concerts, held outside on the lawn of the Museum. Concerts will be held on June 13th, July 11th, August 8th and September 12th. Picnicking welcome. Guests are encouraged to spend some time after the concerts in downtown Madison where they can explore the town’s many unique shops and restaurants.
