Dennis McKee brings vibrant, expressive life to the visual arts. After a thriving career as a graphic designer and fine art painter he shifted his focus more fully to a fine art career. Always involved in the visual arts, Dennis pursued photography, life drawing and painting. Dennis’ paintings communicate his love of nature and his connection to the larger world, capturing the passion and intensity of nature in his dramatically intense applications of light and color. Painting mostly in oil and acrylic media, Dennis also explored the uses and effects of watercolor, inks, colored pencils and oil pastels. “For me, no other media produces the intense, rich look and feel of oil,” he said. “Oil most effectively captures the vibrant color and intensity of the natural world.”
