The Tell-Tale Heart – A Chamber Opera
A short operatic interpretation of Edgar Allan Poe’s classic story. Soprano Timmie Cole, Bass Jason Adamo, and tenor Dmitri Zigrino bring Poe’s tale of suspense to life. Music and libretto by Robert W. Butts
Also featuring John Pivarnik, Tom Loughman, and Douglas Anderson.
Following the opera, singers will sing selections from other theatrical works composed by Robert W. Butts as well as some traditional favorites.
The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey performs music of all periods and styles at affordable prices, supports young artists and audiences, and performs both in organized concert seasons and in special concerts in collaboration with artists and organizations throughout New Jersey.
